Long trip to happiness

If you can still recall my recent post that I mentioned about the planned gala with my friends, well.. WE MADE IT!

We conquer the world of nowhere last Friday. :)

At first we're in doubt if we're gonna make out the plans since one of my friends came late and the time was running out and we knew it by then that if ever we leave, we only got few moments to enjoy there then we had to leave again.. but since we're all set and don't wanna ruin the plans, no question asked we left and set off to Tagaytay.

Minsan lang to! :) Minsan lang ang nakaw na sandali na matutuloy ang plano! :)

It was already evening when we finally arrived in Tagaytay and not safe to continue driving to People's Park where we really wanted to go. So, we decided to just dropped by at the Lady of Manoaog Church which we found along the way.

The place was so peaceful and holy. You can think no misery, only gratefulness.

We wrote a wish letter/ prayer and put it inside the box

It was my first time to visit the Church and I was blessed by its serenity it gave me .

Then after the sanctified visit, we hung out in Nuvali, fed our hungry stomachs, sipped a coffee and just had fun. we found different mini stores of different kind. May foods, clothes, merienda, souvenirs and etc.

I like the carrot cake that I bought. Although it's not the type of cake we usually encounter, still it has an exceptional taste. Although in my opinion, it's more of a puto-like taste and texture, masarap pa din and a Filipino version of it.

But the most unforgettable experience we had that day is when the machine of my car overheated in the middle of the super duper congested traffic.. It felt like a trick to us. We didn't know how to fix it. We're the apple of the eye on the road buti na lang talaga cute kami! :) But thank God for sending us a good-hearted man who helped us throughout..

Although I spent 500 for the labor fee of the machinist, still worth it since we came home safe.

Buti na lang wala ng traffic nung pauwi na kami, around 11pm na kasi natapos ang pagre-repair

At masaya pa?!

Me: Nakakainis eh, kung kelan pauwi na saka pa nasiraan

Joyce: Adventure nga prend eh! Ang saya! :)

Kamusta ka naman prend? HAHA :)

P.S: I called my mom that night and I told her that I'll spend overnight in my friend's house since it's too late for me to drive home alone and thank God she approved and.. Jhun's mom too(special mention) :)
